	Electricity position and allotment of land for construction of sub-station for Tirunelveli IT park A 133/11 KVA substation is now available abutting the IT Park site. An area of 12.92 acres has been allocated in the IT Park site for commissioning a 230/33 KV substation with 4 X 50 MVA power Transformer. Drinking water arrangement for Tirunelveli IT park The sources of water is from the river "Tamirabarani". A pumping station with 5.00 lakh liters capacity of reservoir is available in the IT Park site which will cater the need for the IT Parks.

Coimbatore IT Park to be ready in 8-12 weeks time

The Information Technology (IT) Parks and ELCOT owned 50,000 sq.ft building inside the Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in Tiruchi, Coimbatore and Tirunelveli will be ready in the next 8 to 12 weeks time, said P.W.C. Davidar, IT Secretary on Wednesday.

It would take some more months for the Hosur IT Park to get going as the work order was given recently and the work would commence soon. The IT department was racing against time to complete the ELCOT buildings including infrastructure work for entire SEZs at Tiruchi, Coimbatore and Tirunelveli.

Those firms having Rs.1 crore turnover or Rs.50 lakh export turnover can ask for a minimum of one acre of land.
