FREE Library in Coimbatore for the first time!

This is the first time a private party had opened a library in Coimbatore, and that too for FREE. This was one of the New Coimbatore Foundation projects, sponsored by Made In Coimbatore.

Small small temples in every street corners of Coimbatore

These are the temples, built by the street residents and You can see so many temples in Coimbatore of this kind. These are the temples in addition to the big historical temples. But recently, corporation decided to demolish all these small temples in every street corner, which is a good decision in a way, but that angered most of the coimbatore public!

Coimbatore Meenakshi Amman Temple as World wonder

The above logo picture was the logo used for making Coimbatore Meenakshi Amman Temple to be made as one of the wonders of the world. As per the past days, this temple came up to the position 22, but at last we could not win, even though we all voted for it.

We hope next time we will win the same, if at all there is a next voting for the selection of wonders of the world!

Attitude of people in Coimbatore

Attitude of people in Coimbatore is kind of different than the people in Chennai.
There is a word in Tamil - Kaattaan, which is not a complete derogatory term.

Coimbatore Kaattaan is referred to a person who is unrefined and uneducated. In other words, uncivilized! Well, you might think it is not wonderful to be a person like that! But you are wrong...

It is really fun to be with these kind of guys, because they are good at heart. That is the point to be noted. Unlike Chennai guys, these Coimbatore guys care about others, if there is an emergency.

Coimbatore guys might spit inside a bus, but they will help you if you are hurt in a bus.

Coimbatore folks might be kaattaan's but they are good at heart. That's why they are great!

Well, from a professional point of view, they need to be refined to become improved in their life and their life style for a better living.

International Airport Facility in Coimbatore

I have to write about this...
It is a great news that International flight operations from Coimbatore airport would begin in June 2006. We are very very happy about this fact. Business and Commerce in Coimbatore will improve to a great extent.

Looks like approval is enough for this particular process. International Airport Infrastructure seem to be already there in Coimbatore.
