Dot Com Infoway Coimbatore bagged award in South Asian Region

New Delhi, India: Dot Com Infoway has bagged the mBillionth award for the South Asian region for one of its most popular apps, VTV Songs.

The company achieved Top 5 finalists award in mBillionth's M-Entertainment category among 176 contestants from India and other South Asian countries. DCI was honored with a certificate of recognition for contributing to the creation, development and marketing of the app.

'VTV Songs' is a special entertainment app from DCI Mobile Studios. Made in association with Sony Music Entertainment India, under the guidance of Galatta.com, 'VTV Songs' is the first-ever iPhone application for an Indian movie. In addition to that, 'VTV Songs' is the first-ever iPhone app released on the composition of Academy Award Winner A.R. Rahman. 'VTV Songs' is named after 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa', a South Indian movie starring actors Simbu and Trisha. While 'VTV Songs' comes for free, its close kin 'VTV Songs Download' is a paid app. It allows users to enjoy the soundtrack of the movie all time, with or without internet connection.
