Visitors to the corporation-run Eco Park are sure to increase by the news about water dancing to music, with the inauguration of the newly-built musical fountain on Thursday.
The final stages of the works to set up the fountain has been completed by the corporation and the new facility, completed at a cost of Rs 43 lakh, is expected to attract more visitors to the park. This was done by a private company from Bangalore.
One interesting thing is - Coimbatore Council meeting is still happenning, whether to increase the entry fee or not, which is currently Rs.2. Currently they are getting Rs.30000 per week, but with this new addition, revenue is expected to increase.
These kind of meetings and decisions are supposed to happen before the implementation or in planning phase! Now, we definitely don't know whether this is a worst investment in Coimbatore, by the Coimbatore Corporation or not!
The views projected are ours, but you can read the news here...
